Manulife Kids Science is an outreach program created by The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) to educate and inspire kids with interactive science experiences.
Summer Mentorship Program 2018
Each summer, a select group of high school students will be invited to SickKids for the Mentorship Program. While at SickKids, students will be assigned to a wide range of laboratory tasks from preparing solutions and media to assisting in basic research. In addition to the students’ participation in the labs, they will visit various research facilities at SickKids, as well as participate in a variety of science-related workshops.
The Mentorship Program will be held in the month of August. Students will participate at SickKids or at the Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning every Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting from August 1 to 22 from1 pm – 3 pm.
Students will be chosen based on their Mentorship entry. Please click Manulife Kids Science – Mentorship Application 2018 for details on how to apply to this program. The deadline to apply is May 27, 2018.
Please do not submit applications to SATEC as this program is administered by Sick Kids. Details on how to submit your application are contained within the link.
